Karin Oelerich was born in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt, but has lived for a long time in Munich. There she attended the German Master School of Fashion and earned her diploma as a fashion illustrator and designer. However she has begun interesting herself more and more in options for free expression in painting – and she loves jazz. The experiences she has had with this music inspired her to create the illustrated paintings – to write this story – and finally to create this book.
She has already released something quite different »Im Rosengarten« (»In the Rose Garden«) ISBN-No. 3-935339-25-9. Rose paintings by Karin Oelerich with verses by famous poets.
